Mike Macdonald calls Zach Charbonnet's return this week "a possibility"

Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet could make his 2026 debut on Sunday.
"Zach is going to have a full week's worth of reps," Macdonald said, via video from Brian Nemhauser of hawkblogger. "So, that's exciting, and there's a possibility you could see him on Sunday in some capacity."
Charbonnet remains on the reserve/physically unable to perform list after tearing the ACL in his left knee on his fifth carry in the divisional round of the 2025 playoffs. He underwent surgery on Feb. 20.
The Seahawks opened his 21-day return-to-practice window Oct. 1, so the Seahawks will have to return him to the active roster this week to avoid him finishing the season on PUP.
Charbonnet ran for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns on 184 carries in the 2025 regular season, while sharing carries with Kenneth Walker. Walker is now tearing up the league in Kansas City after signing with the Chiefs as a free agent.
