Aaron Rodgers’ Brother Jordan Makes Unexpected Admission After Years of Family Tension: ‘I Trust the Guy’

Aaron Rodgers is receiving public praise from his younger brother, Jordan Rodgers , following years of tension within their family.

During an ESPN appearance on Wednesday, November 4, Jordan complimented the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback 's experience and ability to lead his team into the playoffs, according to an Entertainment Weekly article published on Friday, November 6.

"This one might surprise you a little bit," Jordan, 38, said before naming his brother as his pick for the most dependable quarterback, per the report.

He explained that the Pittsburgh Steelers ' strong defense and running game allow Aaron to focus on managing the offense rather than carrying the entire team.

"I just feel like I trust the guy that's got the MVPs, that has the veteran status, that's seen everything," Jordan said.

The comments come months after Aaron, 42, began reconnecting with relatives following a family rift that lasted more than a decade.

In July, Aaron shared photos, via Instagram , with his parents, Ed Rodgers and Darla Rodgers , and older brother Luke Rodgers . Per the report, Jordan and his wife, JoJo Fletcher , were not pictured at the gathering but liked the post.

As First for Sports previously reported , Aaron discussed repairing his family relationships during a September appearance on the Not Just Football podcast.

"There were tough conversations for sure," he admitted on the podcast, adding that he was in a "much better headspace."

The quarterback also credited his wife, Brittani — whose identity has not been shared publicly — for supporting him through the reconciliation, during the podcast appearance.

However, according to Page Six , a source said Jordan's relationship with Aaron remains complicated. "It still seems like a very sensitive topic for Jordan," the source said.

According to Entertainment Weekly , the brothers' strained relationship became public in 2016 when Jordan discussed their lack of contact while competing for Fletcher's heart on season 12 of ABC's reality dating show The Bachelorette .

Aaron and the Steelers currently lead the AFC North with a 6-2 record and are riding a four-game winning streak as they prepare to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, November 15, per the team's official website .
