Giants-Eagles final injury report: Cam Skattebo misses practice, doubtful for Sunday

Odds are Skattebo won’t play vs. Eagles.

Cam Skattebo missed a fourth straight practice on Friday due to his hamstring injury, but the New York Giants are not ruling their leading rusher out for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Skattebo is officially considered doubtful.

"Let's see what happens" head coach John Harbaugh said of Skattebo's status.

Wide receiver Malik Nabers , who missed practice on Thursday, yelled to reporters that he practice on Friday . Harbaugh said that Nabers' health is "not an issue" for Sunday.

If Skattebo cannot play, Devin Singletary will be the Giants' primary running back against the Eagles. Gregory Desrosiers is the other back on the 53-man roster, and Phil Mafah and Eric Gray are on the practice squad.

The other injury of note for the Giants involves wide reciever/returner Charlie Jones . He turned up on the injury report this week with a hand injury, and is listed as questionable.

"He's managing it," Harbaugh said. "He was out today catching and everything like that. Just want to make sure he could catch. I haven't talked to him yet. We'll see how he felt."

The Giants have an open roster spot after dropping quarterback Jake Haener from the 53-man roster on Thursday. Adding someone with running back, return experience, or both, might make sense before Sunday.

Running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring/back) was limited in practice on Friday, but does have an injury designation. That means he will play on Sunday.
