Eight-man football is underway in Windham, including the Bombers picking up their first win at Ed Liddle Field last week. Whereas Windham has a long history of playing Chalker (last week's foe), this week brings a very new opponent: Stryker, which is located in the far northwestern corner of the state.

The Panthers are 2-0 for just the second time since 2018 after wins over Chalker and North Adams-Jerome. Nate Ryan already has six touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving), including turning five carries into 139 yards and three scores last week. Quarterback Cody Stewart added a couple of touchdown passes in that win over the Rams.

The Bombers switched to eight-man football this year and were very competitive in their opener (against Plymouth), then picked up an impressive Week 2 win over Chalker. Powerful runners Alex Eye and Dejuan Ramsey combined to score seven touchdowns against the Wildcats, with Ramsey racking up 226 rushing yards.
