Nashville Predators share updated Bridgestone Arena, Centennial Ice Rink renderings

The Nashville Predators released new renderings Sept. 15 of upcoming upgrades for Bridgestone Arena and Centennial Ice Rink .

The arena upgrades show the build-out for the 5th Avenue and Broadway side of the building, which includes additional access in and out, more retail and food options, and new design elements to the spire and exterior wall.

Construction on this project, which is called "Smashville's Next Stage," is expected to begin in summer 2027 and be completed within three years.

The team also released never-seen-before images of upgrades to the Predators ' training facilities at Centennial Ice Rink. The images show a new rear entrance to the building (replacing the current players-only parking lot area), a players lounge and recovery room, and a dining area.

This project is the next step in the Predators' capital commitment to the facility, which is part of the Centennial Sportsplex. In January, the Predators finalized a lease agreement with Metro Nashville to commit up to $30 million in capital upgrades in exchange for operational control of the ice facilities.

The upgrades released in these renderings are not a part of that $30 million figure, but instead an additional expense by the team to upgrade the team's locker room facilities at Centennial.

These upgrades are expected to be completed by September 2027.
