VIDEO: Central Bobcats will be looking to put last week’s homecoming loss behind

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The San Angelo Central Bobcats dropped a 28-21 decision against Abilene Cooper last Friday in a homecoming matchup at San Angelo Stadium, and they're working hard this week to make corrections.

Central dropped to 1-2 in non-district action after the loss to the Cougars.

The Bobcats aren't dwelling on the setback. Instead, they're looking forward to this Friday's matchup against El Paso Montwood. That neutral-site game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Mustang Bowl in Andrews, and the Bobcats will be the designated visitors.

Central head coach Mark Smith expects his squad to be resilient and get back on track, as non-district action continues.
