Pick the LSJ boys high school athlete of week: Sept. 21-26

Here is a look at the individuals in running to be voted the Lansing State Journal's boys high school athlete of the week winner.

Voting is open until noon Wednesday, Sept. 30 to determine a winner, who will be featured in the LSJ.

Ebuela has played a key role in a historic season for the Quakers and has had 11 goals and three assists over their last two games. That included scoring five goals and adding three assists as Eastern wrapped up the CAAC Red title - its first league championship in program history.

The senior No. 1 singles player owns a 19-1 record for the Redwings. He recorded victories over over Ionia, Mason and Williamston last week in straight sets. That success last week followed a week where he won gold at a tournament in Rockford.

The senior had 25 carries for 251 yards and three touchdowns and had two interceptions for the Trojans in a 33-12 CAAC Blue victory over Okemos.
