Iyo Sky's Absence Finally Explained Weeks After Loss to Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam

Iyo Sky revealed Wednesday on X that she recently took a "short summer vacation" in Tokyo.

The Japanese Superstar has been absent from WWE programming recently with her last televised match being a tag team win with Sol Ruca against The Judgment Day's Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez on the Aug. 10 episode of Raw.

Before that, Sky lost a Women's World Championship bout against Liv Morgan at SummerSlam on Aug. 1.

Sky noted in her post that she would be joining WWE for its tour of South America, and that was indeed the case on Wednesday, as she, Ruca and Bayley lost to Rodriguez in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Women's Intercontinental Championship at a live event in Quito, Ecuador, per F4WOnline's Shounak Chakrabarti .
