No snap count restrictions for Chris Bell in Dolphins opener

The Miami Dolphins may have struck gold when they nabbed wide receiver Chris Bell from Louisville in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. After all, the player was projected to be a late first round pick prior to his ACL tear in November of last year. Due to that injury, many thought that Bell would be eased back into action — possibly missing the first half of his rookie season. However, Bell's recovery has been an expeditious one, and the receiver has been named a starter for the Dolphins ahead of their Week One clash in Las Vegas against the Raiders .

And according to new head coach Jeff Hafley, Bell will be a full-go and will not be on a snap count when he takes the field on Sunday.

Yesterday, while speaking with the South Florida media, Hafley confirmed that Bell will have no restrictions against Las Vegas.

"We're going to play him — see how he feels — but, there's no pitch count on Chris."

Bell's full availability is an extremely positive development for the Dolphins, especially this early in the season. Quarterback Malik Willis will have a full complement of weapons for his first start with Miami — including fellow rookies Caleb Douglas and Kevin Coleman Jr., as well as Malik Washington and tight end Greg Dulcich . Of course, Miami's most explosive offensive player, De'Von Achane, will factor mightily into this tilt as well.

Will that be enough to allow Miami to sneak past Las Vegas? We will all find out in just a few short days.
