SFA Lumberjacks roll to 44-7 win over East Texas A&M

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) -- On a rainy Saturday night at Homer Bryce Stadium, the SFA Lumberjacks football team cruised to a 44-7 win over East Texas A&M in the 'Jacks home opener.

JT Kitna got the 'Jacks on the board first with a touchdown run to make it 7-0 SFA and the 'Jacks led 24-7 at halftime before outscoring the Lions 20-0 in the second half of Saturday's win.

SFA improves to 2-0 this season and the 'Jacks will look to start 3-0 when they play at Abilene Christian on Saturday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
