Coyotes come away with 38-23 win at Northern Colorado, improve to 2-0

GREELEY, Co. (KCAU) - The South Dakota Coyotes totaled nearly 400 yards of offense while the 'Yotes defense kept Northern Colorado in check on their way to a 38-23 win.

Quarterback Austyn Modrzewski threw for 178 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running back Charles Pierre Jr. added two touchdowns on the ground.

USD outgained the Bears 214-111 in the run game.

South Dakota returns to The DakotaDome on Saturday, September 12th for a 1 p.m. matchup with Eastern Washington.
