Saints waive WR Kevin Austin, TE Treyton Welch

The Saints have announced their corresponding roster moves after adding two players off of waivers on Monday.

New Orleans has waived receiver Kevin Austin Jr. and tight end Treyton Welch.

Austin, 26, has appeared in 16 games for New Orleans over the last two seasons. In 2025, he caught 13 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown in eight contests with one start.

Welch, 25, appeared in three games with one start for New Orleans last season. He was on the field for 16 offensive snaps and 21 special teams snaps.

The Saints claimed offensive tackle Mason Murphy from the Bears and defensive tackle Colby Wooden from the Colts earlier on Monday .
