Jake Paul's return to boxing will come later this year in a fight on Dec. 24 in Dubai, Paul's company, Most Valuable Promotions, announced Thursday morning.
Paul (12-2, 7 KOs) last fought in December 2025 against Anthony Joshua, suffering a broken jaw in a sixth-round knockout loss to the former heavyweight champion. Paul was hospitalized after the fight and underwent multiple surgeries during his recovery.
Paul's opponent has not been announced yet.
"I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face," Paul said in a press release announcing the fight. "Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey."
Paul's boxing career began in 2020, with the influencer-turned-fighter winning his first six bouts before losing to Tommy Fury in 2023. Paul went on another six-fight winning streak — including a victory over Mike Tyson — before the loss to Joshua, who was the biggest test in his career to that point.
"Jake Paul has spent his career challenging what people think is possible," MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said in the release. "Twelve months ago he suffered a double broken jaw against a two-time heavyweight world champion and since then many have doubted his desire or need to return to boxing. Well he is back, and that tells you everything about the competitor Jake Paul is and how much he loves this sport."
The planned Christmas Eve event will come just two weeks after Joshua's next fight, a highly anticipated bout against Tyson Fury on Dec. 11.
