Wemby Says He Was Too Tall to Safely Join Teammates on Rides at Six Flags Amusement Park

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama's height is apparently better for rebounding than for roller coasters.

Wembanyama, 7'4", told reporters Monday he was unable to join his teammates on rides at Six Flags last weekend.

"I can't do it safely, so I'd rather not do it," Wembanyama said (h/t Spurs Nation). "I didn't pass the height requirement."

Bold Predictions for 2026-27 NBA Season 🔮

Videos shared on social media showed Wembanyama and Spurs teammates including Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas last Sunday.

That isn't the first team bonding trip the Spurs have been on this offseason. Wembanyama and his teammates also trained in Paris together earlier this summer.

Wembanyama led the NBA in blocks for a third straight campaign last season while earning his first Defensive Player of the Year nod and leading the Spurs to the NBA Finals.

He will look to build on that run when helping the Spurs tip off the regular season Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
