Lakers' Luka Doncic Uses 1 Emoji Replying to Kendrick Perkins Hyping 1st 50-Point Game of Season

Despite his 52-point explosion in Sunday's 132-123 win over the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers star guard Luka Doncic is playing it cool.

After ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins praised Doncic on social media for dropping "a cool 52 and 10," the 27-year-old responded with the shades emoji:

Doncic's first 50-point game of the 2026-27 campaign also included 10 assists, eight rebounds and two steals. He failed to reach the 30-point mark in his first two games of the season, so his performance against the Jazz was a return to his vintage form.

Doncic and the Lakers (3-0) will be back in action on Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers (2-0).
