Kevin Durant and LeBron James Recorded 3 Rap Songs Together, Rockets Star Reveals in New Video

Kevin Durant and LeBron James apparently recorded more songs together than the single track that was released in 2018.

The duo recorded multiple tracks while working out in Akron around 2011, Durant told Boardroom's Speedy Morman around the 50:00 mark of Thursday's Boardroom Talks podcast.

"We had like three songs, I think... Me and Rich Paul really were the ones that got it going and convinced Bron to rap," Durant told Morman.

Durant continued, "Any time somebody does something for the first few times, it's forced, a little forced. Once you get that flow— he had to figure it out. He loved rap."

When asked where the songs were now, Durant said, "That's a good question. They're in that studio in Akron. Somebody out there, engineer somebody, got them."

Producer Franky Wahoo released in 2018 a track called "It Ain't Easy" that featured James and Durant rapping.

The track was recorded during the 2011 NBA lockout while Durant was signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder and James was a member of the Miami Heat, according to ESPN .

Durant told Morman the song that was released featured a different beat than the one he and James had initially rapped over.

"They changed the beat, and it just made the song even more wack," Durant said.

Should other tracks featuring Durant and James surface, they could be worth a significant amount of money. Wahoo said TMZ originally tried to purchase "It Ain't Easy" for $250,000 in 2017.
