Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert responded to a fan that called out his three-point shooting following the team's 127-125 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
After a fan posted a video on social media in which he told Gobert to "not shoot another motherf--king set of threes" as long as he plays for the Timberwolves, the three-time All-Star replied with a comment.
"What you gonna do about it?" Gobert wrote.
Ant's Injury Doesn't Worry Wolves' President
Gobert attempted two three-pointers during Minnesota's overtime defeat at the hands of Cleveland, missing both of them.
He grabbed 20 rebounds in the contest, but scored just five points on 0-of-9 shooting.
Gobert has established himself as an elite rim protector throughout his career, earning four Defensive Player of the Year awards. His offensive approach has traditionally been limited to layups and dunks, though.
The 34-year-old has attempted 24 triples across his 14 seasons in the NBA, but has yet to connect on one. Gobert's inaccuracy from behind the arc isn't a major surprise, as he also shoots just 63.3 percent on free throws.
Still, it seems like he plans to continue trying to expand his range as the Timberwolves look to clinch a sixth consecutive playoff appearance.
