The first Game 7 in WNBA Finals history lived up to the hype. Gabby Williams made sure it was the Golden State Valkyries, in front of their home fans and in just their second season of existence, who were celebrating in the end.

Led by her 30 points, the Valkyries won Saturday's Game 7, 68-63, spoiling an otherwise excellent series from Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream.

Here's a look at the game's key performers:

This game had a bit of everything—stout defense, shot-making, playmaking, lead changes, you name it. In a series that went the distance, very little separated these teams.

And Williams justifiably received her flowers from social media after her epic performance:

Coming into Saturday, four of the six games in the series were decided by nine or more points (and all three of the Dream wins were by double digits). It was a fantastic series, no doubt, but the individual games themselves weren't always tight.

But Game 7 was a back-and-forth war until Golden State pulled away in the final moments. It was a fitting close to a fantastic WNBA season, and the legend of Williams will not soon be forgotten in the Bay Area and beyond.
