Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks will begin their title defense campaign next week against the Philadelphia 76ers, and a local restaurant is running a special promotion to welcome the new season.
Sei Less, an Asian-fusion restaurant in midtown Manhattan, is offering fans 11 percent off their bill if they come in wearing Knicks gear on Oct. 20, when New York opens its season against the Sixers, per TMZ .
The discount is, of course, a reference to Brunson's jersey number.
"It's only right as a diehard Knicks fan that we give back for all the pain and suffering over the last 53 years," Sei Less owner Dara Mirjahangiry said, per TMZ. "We're four blocks from Madison Square Garden, our proximity, we're the hotspot for Knicks fans before and after games, and we take care of a lot of the current and former players. So it's just a small give back we could do for all the fans in the area."
TMZ noted that several past and current Knicks have eaten at Sei Less, including Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire and Karl-Anthony Towns.
Sei Less is ensuring fans are fed on game day, and it's up to Brunson and the Knicks to deliver a win to start the season.
