Need alternative LNG routes to bypass Hormuz, says Oman

Alternative routes are needed to allow flows of liquefied natural gas to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, Oman's energy minister told a major gathering of gas producers and traders. "Be it north or through Oman or through Yemen. Diversify your options to get the resources out of the area," Salim Al-Aufi, Oman's minister of energy and minerals, said in Bangkok on Monday.
