NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday busted an Over Ground Worker network allegedly linked with terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba and arrested three persons.According to officials, the accused were involved in providing logistical support, safe transit and other ground-level assistance to terrorists. They allegedly acted as guides and facilitated the movement of terrorist groups towards the Kashmir Valley.According to Rajouri Police, the individuals, identified as Zakir Husaain, Mohd Azam and Mohd Mustaq, are also suspected of having provided ground support to terrorists linked with multiple high-profile attacks, including an attack targeting civilians.During the course of the investigation, an IED was recovered based on the disclosure of one of the accused.A police spokesperson said that preliminary findings indicate that the device had allegedly been handed over to the accused by members of a terrorist group for safe custody and its possible use in a targeted attack.The police are continuing the investigation to establish the complete network, identify additional associates and ascertain the full extent of the accused persons' involvement, the spokesperson added.Get the latest India News and Live updates.
