Bihar horror: 15-year-old abducted, gang-raped inside moving car in Aurangabad; 2 arrested, 1 absconding

PATNA: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men inside a moving car in Aurangabad district, police said on Tuesday. Two accused have been arrested, while the third remains absconding.The survivor, a Class VII student, had left home around noon on Monday to go to a hospital where her mother had taken other children for treatment. According to the complaint, three young men from her village intercepted her near a canal and offered to drop her at the hospital.The girl was allegedly forced into the car. When she began screaming, the accused allegedly turned up the music to full volume before driving towards the Anugrah Narayan Road area, where she was raped.According to the FIR, the accused later discussed killing her to prevent her from revealing the incident. They eventually left her near a school, about a kilometre from her home.Her family became concerned when she failed to reach the hospital. After she answered their calls, they heard her crying and screaming. Around 6pm, she asked them to come to the school, where they found her in a distressed condition and informed the authorities.Sub-inspector Imran Alam said an FIR had been registered, the girl’s medical examination conducted and her statement recorded before a magistrate on Tuesday.“Two accused identified as Prince Kumar and Roshan Kumar have been arrested and they confessed the crime during interrogation. The third accused, Raju Kumar alias Jhunu, is absconding.
