He questioned whether he had been considered for anything before making a playful comment about his looks.“I was nominated? For what? For most handsome and most cool? It's all good. Chat, if they want to snub the king, the king will remember. Okay? It's all good. It's all good. Chat, the king forgives, but the king does not forget.”His comments came as he looked at categories such as President of Chat, also known as Best Just Chatting Streamer, and Gamer of the Year. Both categories featured other popular creators, but xQc's name was missing. He then questioned why he was not included among the Gamer of the Year nominees. Instead of simply accepting the list, he used the moment to explain why he believed he deserved recognition.“Chat, they're not going to put the king in there? I'm going to give it (President of Chat award) to Joe Bart. Gamer of the Year... seriously? Seriously? Why am I never in Gamer of the Year? Why?! Chat, I'm Streamer of the Year every day. I wake up, and I do what I want - that is Streamer of the Year. I am bound by no strings.”xQc's comments mixed frustration with his usual joking style.
