2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition launched: Price, what's new

Suzuki has introduced a new Special Edition of the Hayabusa in India, with prices starting at Rs 19.90 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Alongside the new edition, the standard Hayabusa also gets fresh colour options. Both versions receive updates to the battery and electronic systems, while the mechanical package remains unchanged.The Special Edition stands out with a Pearl Vigor Blue paint finish and unique styling details. It gets exclusive decals, a different wheel finish and a 3D Special Edition emblem on the fuel tank. Suzuki has also added anodised components for the muffler end and heat guard. A factory-fitted single-seat cowl is included as part of the Special Edition package.The standard Hayabusa, meanwhile, is now available with three new dual-tone paint combinations. These include Gloss Sparkle Black with Candy Daring Red accents, Metallic Galaxy Grey with Candy Burnt Gold accents, and Pearl Brilliant White with Pearl Vigor Blue accents.Suzuki Hayabusa Gets Battery And Electronics UpdatesOne of the key changes for the 2026 Hayabusa is a new lithium-ion battery supplied by ELIIY Power. Suzuki says the battery is more compact and lighter than before, while also offering improved voltage stability under load.The motorcycle's electronic systems have also received software revisions. The launch control and power mode selector have been updated, while the cruise control system has been reconfigured to stay engaged during clutchless gear changes. This means the set speed does not get cancelled when the rider shifts gears without using the clutch.1,340cc Engine ContinuesThere are no mechanical changes to the Hayabusa with this update. The motorcycle continues to use its 1,340cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled inline-four engine.The 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition is priced at Rs 19.90 lakh, while the standard model costs Rs 18.99 lakh.
