Belagavi: ZP CEO Rahul Shinde visited the community health centre in Kabbur village on Thursday, to enquire about the health of hundreds of villagers who had fallen ill after consuming ‘prasada’ at the Shellevva Devi Jatra utsav in Jodatti village, Chikodi taluk, on Wednesday. Shinde visited each of the admitted patients to check on their well-being and offered reassurance to both the patients and their families, urging them not to panic. He instructed the medical officers to ensure that the patients receive proper care without any complications. Doctors said that the villagers are being treated and are recovering. He also directed the officials concerned and medical officers to conduct an investigation into the incident, send food samples for testing, and organise a health camp in the village as a precautionary measure.Stay updated with the latest Hubballi news.
