Hundreds of people queued for the opening of a new Lego store in Norfolk on Thursday morning.

The shop opened its doors at Chantry Place shopping centre on St Stephen's Street in Norwich at 09:00 GMT. The first person in the queue had been there since 04:00 GMT.

Al, 23, joined the queue at 05:00 GMT and told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We've wanted one here for so long. It's going to pull people from such a large area. I can't believe we haven't had it sooner."

Before the Norwich store opened, the nearest official Lego Store for many Norfolk shoppers was in Stratford, east London.
