CHENNAI: Stepping up his offensive against the TVK govt, DMK leader M K Stalin launched a blistering attack on Thursday, saying Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay was relying on “roadshows and raids” to divert public attention and shift headlines away from the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.Referring to TVK as a “TN branch washing machine” that takes in corrupt elements and turns them into bargaining chips, Stalin said the “Vettri Vendetta Politics” targeting former DMK ministers would fail before the law and collapse in the court of public opinion. Stalin’s remarks came amid ongoing raids at the residence and properties of senior DMK functionary and former minister K N Nehru and his family members. He alleged that the raids were orchestrated merely to generate reels for the Tiruchy East bypoll and help Vijay deliver “theatrical punch dialogues on stage”. He declared that not even a primary member of the DMK would be intimidated by such actions.Asserting that the nation was mocking TVK’s governance over law and order failures, administrative stagnation and spiralling inflation, he said attempts to gag DMK leaders would fail. He warned that the party would continue to expose the govt’s misdeeds with greater intensity. You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Chennai | Silver Rate in Chennai | Bank Holidays in Chennai | Public Holidays in Chennai | Chennai AQI | Weather in Chennai | Petrol Price in Chennai | Diesel Price in Chennai | CNG Price in Chennai | LPG Price in ChennaiStay updated with the latest Chennai news.
