Marsha Allen was on vacation when she got an alarming security alert. Her Freetown, Indiana, home was being burglarized. Security cameras captured the whole scene: two men in her home, one wearing a mask, rummaging through drawers and opening up her safe. And strangely, one of the individuals seemed to have the codes for the safe on his phone. Marsha was quick to send the videos to the police department, and quick to point out that she recognized the man who wasn’t wearing a mask. It was Steven White, her daughter’s friend. It didn’t take police long to track him down. They confronted him about the burglary. And then he told them about another crime. One they didn’t even know about. A tale of greed, betrayal, and poison. And it all had to do with Marsha’s late husband, Harold Allen.
