Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon on Sunday announced that he would wear a black turban until justice is delivered in the murder case of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota.Wearing a black turban, Dhillon, in a video message, said that while participating in the ongoing protest over Jhota’s murder in Mansa on Saturday, he had appealed to the people of Punjab to register their protest by wearing black turbans and black dupattas and carrying black flags until justice was delivered.Jhota’s father Bhim Singh and the people participating in the protest accepted the appeal, Dhillon said.He said, “What has happened to a young man who raised his voice against drugs has deeply shaken the people of Punjab. A young man who was fighting to save Punjab’s youth from drugs was brutally murdered. Subsequently, Bikramjit Singh from Mari Pannwan village in Gurdaspur was also murdered.”Dhillon demanded that the chief minister take moral responsibility for govt’s failure and resign immediately.BJP national spokesperson R P Singh also said that he would wear a black turban until justice is delivered to Jhota’s family. You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Chandigarh | Silver Rate in Chandigarh | Bank Holidays in Chandigarh | Public Holidays in Chandigarh | Chandigarh AQI | Weather in Chandigarh | Petrol Price in Chandigarh | Diesel Price in Chandigarh | CNG Price in Chandigarh | LPG Price in ChandigarhStay updated with the latest Chandigarh news.
