Hassan: Union minister HD Kumaraswamy accused the state govt of failing to take action against the mastermind behind an alleged sting operation which police are investigating.Speaking to reporters, Kumaraswamy questioned the govt’s intentions and alleged that the individual responsible for the sting operation was being protected despite the circulation of video footage containing controversial conversations.“The person who conducted the sting operation has openly admitted to it. What more evidence does the govt need to take action?” he said, questioning the sincerity of the investigation. He expressed suspicion about the conduct of chief minister DK Shivakumar and home minister Priyank Kharge, suggesting that there could be an underlying conspiracy.Kumaraswamy also questioned former CM Siddaramaiah’s silence and urged him to speak out.He also alleged that attempts were being made to provoke him on the chief minister’s instructions. He said he had appealed to the state police chief to take action against those involved in the sting operation but expressed doubts about the impartiality of the investigation.According to him, the JD(S)-BJP combine would come to power in 2028. “I will show my other side then,” he warned, adding that those targeting him would eventually have to pay a price. You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Bengaluru | Silver Rate in Bengaluru | Bank Holidays in Bengaluru | Public Holidays in Bengaluru | Bengaluru AQI | Weather in Bengaluru | Petrol Price in Bengaluru | Diesel Price in Bengaluru | CNG Price in Bengaluru | LPG Price in BengaluruStay updated with the latest Bengaluru news.
