Miraculous escape: 100-yr-old woman falls into 50-foot well after feeling dizzy in Neemuch, survives & rescued on a cot

Indore: In what seems to be a miraculous escape for an elderly, a 100-year-old woman allegedly survived a 50-foot fall into an open well at a farm in Neemuch on Thursday. She had enough luck; the surface of the well was soft and filled with some water and a quick rescue by farmers saved the woman’s life.She was rescued on a cot by and later taken to the hospital on a motorcycle by her kin.The woman, identified as Jamni Bai, who has a grandson in his 40s, was sitting on the boundary of the well in Jamuniya Kalan village when she reportedly felt dizzy and fell inside.The woman’s daughter-in-law, who was working in a nearby field, was the first one to hear her cries for help from inside the well. She immediately alerted farmers working nearby and family members, who rushed to the spot. As tractors continued to operate in the surrounding fields, two men climbed down into the well, placed the elderly woman on a cot, and helped pull her out. She was then rushed to a nearby hospital on a motorcycle, where doctors said she had escaped serious injuries and was out of danger.Sarpanch Vinod Jaiswal said that the woman had a miraculous escape. “It’s even more surprising because she is a 100-year-old.
