Maya puts Gen Z, Gen Alpha on party’s poll agenda

Lucknow: The problems faced by Gen Z and Gen Alpha are as much a part of BSP’s election campaign in Uttar Pradesh as those faced by any other sections of voters.In the all-India meeting of the party held in Lucknow on Sept 23, she asked the party’s rank and file to specially focus on the issues concerning Gen Z and Gen Alpha while reaching out to voters in the state.Mayawati said that her party extended support to every protest of Gen Z and Gen Alpha that took place in UP and nationally and drew govt’s attention to their problems, seeking urgent solutions.According to sources in the party, Mayawati has also asked functionaries to remind voters of the positive steps taken by the BSP govt to give youth and children a better future.The BSP’s stand on “essential” demands of Gen Z and Gen Alpha is that of “sympathy and concern”.Mayawati has directed all state units of her party to actively work towards resolving their problems through peaceful means.“We should focus on forming our own govt to find a permanent solution to their problems,” she noted.When Gen Alpha was protesting over the poor condition of schools in UP, Mayawati not only urged the govt to pay empathetic attention to their needs and demands with the right intent and policy but also not use force against them.She had also decried the shutting down of govt schools in UP and highlighted the shortage of basic needs in schools, like proper buildings, teachers, drinking water, toilets and cleanliness.During the protests by Gen Z at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and later at Ranchi in Jharkhand, Mayawati demanded appropriate action from the govts at the Centre and in states.In the recent BSP meeting, apart from the other developments, she also sought feedback on matters concerning Gen Z and Gen Alpha from all the state units of the party.You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Lucknow | Silver Rate in Lucknow | Bank Holidays in Lucknow | Public Holidays in Lucknow | Lucknow AQI | Weather in Lucknow | Petrol Price in Lucknow | Diesel Price in Lucknow | CNG Price in Lucknow | LPG Price in LucknowStay updated with the latest Lucknow news.
