UGCET 2026: KEA completes final allocation, 24,283 engineering seats remain vacant

UGCET 2026: A total of 24,283 seats across various engineering courses remain unallocated, along with 252 seats in architecture courses. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the third round must complete their admission at the concerned colleges by September 11.Excluding engineering, nursing has the highest number of vacant seats after the three rounds of UGCET-2026 allocation. Of the total 36,238 nursing seats, only 13,407 have been allocated, leaving 22,832 seats vacant.The figures show that a substantial number of seats remain available across several other professional and allied courses after completion of the final allocation round.Veterinary seats fully allocatedAll 366 seats available in veterinary courses have been allocated through the UGCET-2026 process. No seats remain vacant in the veterinary category following the completion of the third round.Pharmacy courses have 489 unallocated seats remaining. There are also 22 vacant seats in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), while 20 seats remain vacant in agriculture and related courses.BSc AHSS and yoga courses have vacant seatsA total of 2,465 seats remain unallocated in BSc AHSS courses. In yoga and naturopathy courses, 214 seats remain vacant out of a total intake of 520 seats.The remaining seats have been handed over to the respective college governing boards following the completion of the third and final allocation round.Third-round candidates must complete admissionCandidates who received seats in the third round have until September 11 to secure admission in their allotted colleges. KEA has stated that completing the admission process is compulsory for candidates who have been allotted seats.Candidates are required to ensure that their admission formalities are completed within the prescribed deadline.
