President Trump on Tuesday blasted Fox News over its recent interviews with Senate candidates Abdul El-Sayed (D) of Michigan and Dan Osborn (I) of Nebraska.

Trump questioned on Truth Social why the network would interview the “sleazebag, Dan Osborn right now, who is running against our GREAT Republican Senator Pete Ricketts.” He then referred to his winning Nebraska in 2016, 2020 and 2024 as a “miracle … by a landslide.”

The president also accused Fox News of covering El-Sayed more “than they do the good old fashioned Republicans, the people that have saved America, and are making it great again.”

“All they talk about is Dumocrat Jihadists like El-Sayed, with his softball interview by Martha MacCallum, and the like,” Trump wrote earlier on Tuesday. “She never interviews me like that. They don’t show my record breaking Rallies the morning after, but others do, and that’s what MAGA is watching.”

The posts follow Trump’s general, lengthy complaint on Sunday that the network’s “Fox & Friends” series did not cover recent Republican rallies in Ohio, Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma. He called the rallies “the hottest things out there” but “nothing shows up on Fox!”

“Other networks are reporting about these Rallies, and really positively, like ‘crazy!'” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday . “Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!).”

His characterization of the network’s sitdown with El-Sayed as “softball” contrasts with Fox News’s own description of the interview .

The outlet said El-Sayed was challenged for accepting donations from wealthy donors after campaigning against corporate donors. El-Sayed told MacCallum that he welcomes support from individuals who want to contribute.

“You know what I don’t do? I don’t call corporations. I don’t call AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee] … Individuals who want to support a campaign, that’s different,” he said.

Trump also lamented last Wednesday that Fox News was hosting Democrats for interviews on its network, accusing the network of giving Democrats “more airtime than Pro Republicans.”

“They repeat a completely negative narrative, on and on it goes, and then we get a quick retort. It’s truly amazing that I won all three Elections,” he wrote on Truth Social, repeating his false claim that he won the 2020 election, which he lost to former President Biden.

The president has long praised Fox News and welcomed many of the network’s former personalities into his orbit, from advisory roles to Cabinet positions in his administration. Conversely, former Trump administration officials including White House press secretaries Kayleigh McEnany and Karoline Leavitt have left to eventually land jobs at the network.

Fox News, among other major TV networks that rotate covering the president for wider media distribution, paused that coverage last month in response to Trump’s attempt to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from covering the White House.
