Live Updates: Obama, Harris to campaign for Democrats in 3 battleground states; Trump travels to Georgia

President Trump has held rallies throughout the week in Iowa, Kansas, Florida and more, but leaders of the Democratic Party are set to hold a midterm blitz of their own on Saturday ahead of Election Day.

Former President Obama is expected to make two Midwest trips to Cleveland, Ohio and Detroit, Mich. to help move the needle for Democrats in the two battleground states.

Obama will first travel to Ohio to hold a rally with former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), who is locked in a tight battle with Ohio Republican Jon Husted for the Buckeye State’s Senate seat.

According to The Hill’s partner Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ), Brown has a 51 percent chance to defeat Husted and is anticipated to be one of the tightest races in this year’s midterms.

Following Obama’s Cleveland rally, he will travel north to Detroit to campaign with Michigan’s Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who is facing former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.).

DDHQ has El-Sayed holding a steady lead over Rogers, 68 percent to 32 percent, respectively.

Former Vice President Harris will also be hitting the campaign trail on Saturday, meeting up with Democratic Senate candidate Chris Pappas (N.H.) in Portsmouth, N.H.

Pappas is facing off against Republican challenger John Sununu for the chance to succeed Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.).

Despite the Democrat frenzy, Trump is not done with his midterm tour. The president will hold a 7 p.m. rally in Perry Ga. in an attempt to boost Republican Senate candidate Rep. Mike Collins, who is going up against incumbent Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff.

The president will also rally in Port Huron, Mich., Corinth, Miss. and Lubbock and Waco, Texas next week.
