Watch live: Trump seeks to boost Biggs, GOP in Arizona

President Trump heads to Arizona on Wednesday afternoon, looking to help Republicans flip the governor’s mansion in a state he carried in 2024.

Trump is expected to rally supporters for GOP Rep. Andy Biggs, as the lawmaker seeks to unseat incumbent Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs, who narrowly won her first term in 2022.

The stop is part of the president’s broader swing through traditionally red states, a strategy one Republican source told The Hill is aimed at replicating his presidential election turnout for the midterms.

The event in Bullhead City, Ariz., is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EDT.
