Duffy last week called on Congress to provide an additional $30 billion for the overhaul, including funding for new technology, control towers and airport improvements across the country.
The push comes as the Federal Aviation Administration rolls out its new Strategic Management of Airspace, Routes and Trajectories program, an AI tool designed to help air traffic controllers anticipate congestion and reduce delays.
