Vice President Vance is rallying voters in Iowa on Friday, as GOP candidates in the Hawkeye State navigate a complicated political landscape ahead of November.

The visit marks Vance’s second trip to the state this election cycle and as Republicans hope to maintain control of the House and Senate next year. GOP gubernatorial nominee Zach Lahn is expected to join him.

Notably, Senate nominee Rep. Ashley Hinson (R), who is running to replace outgoing Sen. Joni Ernst (R), is skipping the event. She recently broke with President Trump on his beef import plan while other Republicans in the state questioned the Trump administration over its Iran war strategy.
