5-day-old infant dies after fire breaks out at Telangana's RIMS hospital; 28 newborns rescued

HYDERABAD: A five-day-old newborn died after a fire broke out at RIMS Hospital in Telangana's Adilabad late on Monday night.Twenty-eight children admitted to the ward were safely rescued and evacuated.The fire broke out around 11.50pm.Fire tender was rushed to the hospital after the incident was reported, and the blaze was brought under control.The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.Police have registered a case.
