Bengaluru: Hang Ten Systems, founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has raised an additional $53 million led by Xora, a Temasek-backed fund, taking the company’s total funding to $85 million.Mayfield, which led the company’s first seed round, and Aramco Ventures also participated in the round. Other investors include Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron Technology chairman and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and Yahoo! co-founder and AME Cloud Ventures founding partner Jerry Yang. Yang has joined Hang Ten Systems’ board of directors.Hang Ten provides advisory, transformation and applied-AI services to large enterprises. Its delivery model combines agentic code generation, a reusable skills library and domain expertise to build, modify and operate enterprise software.The company works across software development, finance and finance analytics, enterprise migrations and human resources, among other areas. It says its model enables enterprises to deploy software at lower cost and in shorter timelines than traditional systems integration.The company said the two seed rounds closed five weeks apart.The latest capital will be used to expand delivery capacity for ongoing engagements, grow its engineering and consulting teams, and continue developing its platform, infrastructure and agentic skills library.Hang Ten is also working with Aramco on applications supporting its operations across several functions.“We spend a great deal of time assessing where AI can realistically be applied in a business of our scale,” said Mahdi Aladel, CEO of Aramco Ventures. “What makes Hang Ten compelling is the breadth. The more closely we look at their approach, the more functions and use cases we find across our own operations where it would fit.”Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is among the other enterprises working with Hang Ten.Sikka said the company’s approach was based on the need to pair AI’s capabilities with reliability. “AI can be the most powerful amplifier we have ever built.
