Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ ) completed the acquisition of Dasseti, an artificial intelligence-powered platform for due diligence and ongoing monitoring across public and private markets. Dasseti will be integrated into Nasdaq eVestment, extending the platform from manager research into due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, and post-selection monitoring. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Dasseti covers 17,000 asset managers and general partners representing $34 trillion of assets under management. That reach creates a credible strategic rationale, but assets associated with platform coverage are not revenue for Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ). The investment question is whether the combined network can produce enough subscriptions, cross-selling, and retention to justify an undisclosed purchase price.
Nasdaq eVestment already connects roughly 4,800 contributing asset managers with more than 1,200 asset owners and intermediaries. The network covers more than 112,000 products in 109 countries and is associated with more than $90 trillion of assets under management. Nasdaq eVestment's private-market coverage includes more than 16,000 managers and 95,000 funds, accessible through Nasdaq eVestment, global data providers, and customer relationship management platforms.
Dasseti adds workflows that sit beside this data rather than simply adding another database. Its technology uses artificial intelligence for due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, data extraction and ongoing manager monitoring. Combining institutional data with those workflows could reduce spreadsheet-, document-, and email-based processes while keeping research and oversight in one environment.
The acquisition also builds on an existing relationship. Nasdaq Ventures invested in Dasseti in 2022, giving Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) familiarity with the technology. Dasseti had also introduced an integration with Nasdaq eVestment Omni before the acquisition closed.
Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) can introduce Dasseti's tools to existing asset owners, consultants and managers while offering Nasdaq eVestment data to Dasseti users. Workflow & Insights, which includes Nasdaq eVestment, generated $133 million of revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 5% year over year. That existing business and customer base provides a channel for cross-selling.
Network size does not establish incremental economics. Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) did not disclose Dasseti's revenue, subscription growth, customer retention, margins, or profitability. Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) also did not provide the purchase price, expected integration costs, revenue synergies, or earnings contribution, preventing investors from calculating an acquisition multiple or expected return.
