Bosch Q2 revenue rises 28%, net profit up 19%

Bengaluru: Bosch reported a 19% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 840 crore for the September quarter of FY27, driven by strong demand across automotive segments and the inclusion of Bosch Chassis Systems India in its consolidated results for the first time.Consolidated revenue from operations rose 28.2% to Rs 7,655 crore, compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year.The company recognised an exceptional gain of Rs 130 crore during the quarter following a reassessment of its service award liability and reversal of the corresponding provision.The growth was largely driven by the automotive business, whose overall product sales increased 29.8% year-on-year. Power Solutions grew 36.4%, while Vehicle Motion recorded growth of 34.9%. The two-wheeler business expanded 17.7%, supported by a favourable product mix and increased demand from original equipment manufacturers ahead of the festive season.The mobility aftermarket business grew 13.2%, while the Beyond Mobility business reported 24% growth in net sales, driven by demand in the Power Tools segment.Bosch’s consolidated results include the performance of Bosch Chassis Systems India, its wholly owned subsidiary, for the first time following its acquisition during the quarter.On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased 28.6% to Rs 6,164 crore.
