Charting the Unknown is the first major expansion for Crimson Desert , adding a vast ocean, romance, and business management to an already huge RPG. Charting the Unknown also continues the game's storyline with new quests for Kliff, Damiane, and Oongka. There's a lot to see in Charting the Unknown, so let the guides below help you find your sea legs.

The new story content for Kliff, Damiane, and Oongka can only be started after finishing Crimson Desert's main story and completing Epilogue: Journey's End . The shipbuilding and ocean content can be started as soon as Chapter 3 , however.

Three questlines make up Charting the Unknown's main story, but there are also several new Faction quests that lead you to the new naval content, castle construction, and business management.

Charting the Unknown has completely reworked the interaction system with NPCs, and you can now romance and marry almost any character in Pywel. There are a few exceptions, but you can seduce basically anyone from random beggars to Pywel's Witches .
