Dread Honcho Walkthrough - Hello Kitty Island Adventure Guide - IGN

”Dread Honcho” is a Visitor Quest that unlocks after Anai’s Visitor Quest, “Stress Free,” has been completed in Hello Kitty Island Adventure . Once this quest is complete, you’ll be able to invite a new person to the island.

To start the quest, you’ll need to talk to Retsuko , who can usually be found in the Hot Springs of Mount Hothead . She’s relieved to see you! Chief Komiya has organized a meeting, and Retsuko is looking for an excuse to get out of it. You don’t have anything immediate that needs doing, but maybe Fenneko can help! Follow Retsuko to find her sleuthy friend!

Fenneko and Haida will be hanging out just south of the Hot Springs. Talk to Fenneko to see what ideas she has accrued. Oh, she’s.. not letting Retsuko get away with it. Retsuko invites you along as moral support, and Haida looks at the bright side. Maybe there will be some free donuts or pizza.

Attend the office meeting without the office and follow the crew to the Hot Springs, in an area just outside of Visitor Cabin 2. You notice that Chief Komiya has gathered all of Retsuko’s coworkers to hear out his announcement.

As you might have suspected, Chief Komiya is ready to welcome Director Ton to the island! But first, he’ll need a proper welcoming party! Which is why he has gathered everyone here.

The office party is split on levels of enthusiasm, and Chief Komiya reiterates that he can’t simply take back his invite. In fact, he’s prepared a red carpet just for Director Ton’s arrival. He gives you a free Red Square Rug , the Crafting Plan for the Square Rug, and 5x Red Dye Pouches. Just in case you want to make more.

Retsuko relents. She is technically in charge of logistics, so she should help out with the planning. Haida and Fenneko are participating in a rage moment, but… none comes. Somehow that’s more worrying.

Retsuko pardons herself to go on a walk. Follow after her to make sure that she’s okay. Retsuko can be found on the beach, south of Mount Hothead’s Mailbox . She scoffs at all the work Chief Komiya is going through to welcome Director Ton, but she’s got bigger priorities. There’s a secret gathering happening at the top of Gemstone Mountain .

Follow Retsuko to the Gemstone Corral Mailbox at the top of the mountain and meet up with Haida and Fenneko just behind the Mailbox. You’ve officially joined the Anti-Ton Team. You have gone through so much to try and make sure that Director Ton doesn’t visit the island, but now the inevitable is happening.

Haida plans on disappearing, and Fenneko plans on avoiding him in general. Retsuko claims that that’s not a great approach to their new visitor. Her concern is no longer with the stress of Director Ton’s visit, but how he deals with her new friends she’s made on the island.

She is prepared to enact Operation Boss Battle to make sure that Director Ton does not bully any of the other residents on the island! Before you can go into details, Chococat appears to ask what you are up to. He needs some help from Retsuko and the others for some research he’s been doing on Mount Hothead.

Fenneko and Haida excuse themselves to work on Operation Boss Battle, and Retsuko explains that she’s helping her friends right now, but will check back in with Chococat once her original plans are completed. Head to Spooky Swamp to find out what ideas Fenneko and Haida have come up with to make sure Director Ton does not disrupt the peace on Friendship Island.

Fenneko is gathering information from Gori and Washimi to find out what she can do to run interference on Director Ton.

Head to Merry Meadows next to talk to Haida and find out what he’s thought up. He tried roping in Anai , but the young man has dipped out. Ookami , however, is willing to help out in organizing a Boys Club! This will make sure that Director Ton has no time to bother anyone else, because the club will have tons of activities and sports talk!

With some ideas in place, all you need to know now is when Director Ton is set to arrive. Go check in with Kabae and Chief Komiya, all sneaky-like, to find out when Director Ton is arriving.

Head to Gemstone Mountain to hang out at the Dance Hall, in hopes of being able to listen in on Chief Komiya’s planning. After hiding behind a barrel, you’ll find out that Director Ton is heading to the island right now!

Retreat to Retsuko immediately! She can be found at the Seaside Resort beach just south of the Mailbox near the plaza. Just as soon as you can relay the information, Fenneko drops by with a terrifying announcement. HE’S HERE!

Without even a second to breathe, Director Ton stomps over and looks directly at you, demanding to know where his cabin is. Well… so much for all that planning. What’s most important now is preparing a visitor cabin for Director Ton.
