Alchemic Wisdom - Enshrouded Guide - IGN

Alchemic Wisdom is a main quest in Enshrouded that sends you in search of two parts of a special collection of alchemical formulae. It’s an essential quest to unlock more concoctions from the Alchemist. This walkthrough will show you where to find the two pieces you need and how to combine them to advance Balthazar’s repertoire.

To start Alchemic Wisdom, you must first complete Scientific Instruments For A Laboratory . Then, after you enter the Albaneve Summits, visit the Alchemist and ask him about “A New Frontier in Alchemy.” He’ll mention that he’s reached the limits of his skills and sends you on this quest to find valuable research to continue his studies

To complete Alchemic Wisdom, you need to collect two halves of the Ripped Alchemist’s Wall Hanging. The first is in a tower near the ruined town of Wickmouth in the Albaneve Summits. It’s southeast of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, and there are two neat points of interest you can easily hit along the way: a Flame Shrine and a Shroud Root. Just glide south from the spire to the Flame Shrine, then east to the Shroud Root , and you’ll still have plenty of elevation to glide directly to the tower.

Open the front door at the base of the tower on the southside and climb the stairs to the top . Use a Lockpick to open a door into the study at the top of the tower and look for the first wall hanging on the wall. Collect it to advance the quest.

Before you leave, look to the south side of the study to find a ruined bookshelf up against the wall. Break it down to access a small balcony on the other side with a gold chest. Then, fast travel back to the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire to set yourself to go after the other half of the wall hanging.

The second wall hanging is in a vulture nest in the Camellia Lake Marble Quarry west of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire. You can glide directly to it from the top of the spire . The nest you’re looking for is on the upper level of the quarry on the far west side .

Once you have both halves of the wall hanging, bring them back to your settlement and visit the Alchemist. Build an Alchemist Showcase and put it up somewhere in your settlement . Fill it with both halves of the wall hanging and you’ll complete the quest, earning you 350 XP in the process.
