“Bows in the Attic” is one of the Special Gathering Quests for Hello Kitty’s birthday on November 1 in Hello Kitty Island Adventure . By completing this quest, you can celebrate your favorite crafter’s birthday and be rewarded with a Hello Kitty Party Favor and Hello Kitty’s Birthday Balloons Crafting Plans .

Hello Kitty’s Birthday Quest will be available on October 30 and will time out a few days after her birthday on November 1 . If you’ve already completed this quest, then “Bows in the Attic” will not appear again, but you can still collect Hello Kitty’s Decorating Kits around this time.

Hello Kitty’s Decorating Kits can occasionally be found when picking up items around Seaside Resort , such as Sand Dollars , Rubber , and Pineapples . Use these Decorating Kits at the Oven to bake Hello Kitty a special elaborately decorated birthday cake!

To start the quest, seek out My Melody at her shop, Small Gift Big Smile . Thank goodness for your arrival; she’s been needing an accomplice! It’s Hello Kitty’s special day around the corner, and My Melody wants to surprise her with a birthday party. But it can’t be held at Seaside Resort; otherwise she’ll know what’s up. The venue will have to be located elsewhere. Scout some locations with My Melody and head to Spooky Swamp for some ideas.

Meet up with My Melody at the Haunted Mansion after traveling to Spooky Swamp. Kuromi meets you there to consider the Haunted Mansion as a possible venue. It’s got plenty of rooms and treats can be snuck in through the basement; it’s almost perfect!

Until Hello Kitty joins. She wasn’t meant to be here! Hello Kitty is in Spooky Swamp collecting Apples for baking. When asked what you’re doing there, you make up a quick excuse.

After Hello Kitty says her farewells, My Melody concludes that Spooky Swamp won’t do if Hello Kitty can find out what they are up to. Looks like you’ll need to continue searching for venues.

Following Kuromi’s suggestion, fast travel to the Dance Hall in Gemstone Mountain . It’s got plenty of room to dance and is far away from Seaside Resort. Pekkle is there already, dancing on the floor, and asks if you’re there to join.

My Melody explains her plan, and Pekkle welcomes the idea. The Dance Hall has plenty of room for decorations and dancing, plus they have tables for lots of snacks. It could just be the perfect place for Hello Kitty’s secret birthday party!

Until the birthday girl shows up once again. After another quick excuse as to why you’re suddenly at the Dance Hall, My Melody questions why Hello Kitty is in Gemstone Mountain. Once again, for her quest in baking, she has ventured to the desert for her special desserts made with Cactus Creams. Looks like this venue isn’t going to work either…

Pekkle apologizes, saying that there aren’t many secret hidey holes in the Dance Hall. This seems to give My Melody an idea, and she urges you to meet her outside her shop to finally decide on a venue.

Head back to Seaside Resort and talk to My Melody outside her shop. She has the perfect idea for a birthday party venue, and the secret lies in the attic of Small Gift Big Smile! She’s been meaning to clean up the attic, but kept putting it off. Now with Hello Kitty’s birthday around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to spruce up the place and begin decorating!

Help My Melody clean up the attic by gathering the different boxes and planks around the room. After picking up the 4x pieces of Clutter , talk to My Melody again to find out what’s next on the list.

The place is looking better than ever, but the dust that’s stirred up is starting to aggravate everyone’s noses. My Melody suggests coming back to cleaning after you allow the dust to settle. The quest concludes, but the next step in arranging Hello Kitty’s birthday party is just around the corner.

Wait two days before checking back in with My Melody in the next quest, “A Fresh Coat of Paint.”
