Finding Your Groove Walkthrough - Hello Kitty Island Adventure Guide - IGN

“Finding Your Groove” is one of the Special Gathering Quests for Pekkle’s Birthday on July 27 in Hello Kitty Island Adventure . By completing this quest, you can celebrate your favorite dancer’s birthday and be rewarded with a Pekkle Party Favor and Pekkle’s Birthday Balloons Crafting Plans .

Pekkle’s Birthday Quest will be available for some time before and after his actual birthday, starting July 25 and ending July 31 . If you’ve already completed this quest, then “Finding Your Groove” will not appear again, but you can still find Pekkle Decorating Kits during the week of Pekkle’s Birthday.

Pekkle’s Decorating Kits can occasionally be found when picking up items around Gemstone Mountain , such as Shinies , Fizzy Ore , and Calming Crystals . You can use these Decorating Kits to make a special birthday cake just for Pekkle!

To start the quest, you’ll first need to talk to Pekkle in Gemstone Mountain. He’s happy to celebrate his birthday, but wants to try something other than dancing or a party at the Dance Hall . Pekkle wants to try out different hobbies, starting first with fishing! But first, he’ll need a good fishing spot.

While in Gemstone Town, catch any type of Fish from a body of water. You can use the small pond that’s located right there in town or use the small donut-shaped lake that’s located northeast of Gemstone Town.

Once you’ve caught a fish, talk to Pekkle again. He’s a bit… underwhelmed, but does admire your patience and persistence. This hobby is just a bit too relaxed for him; he needs something with a bit more movement. He recalls that Hello Kitty always seems busy around her cafe, so maybe you two can go check on her to see if there’s anything she might need help with today!

Head to Hello Kitty’s Cafe in Seaside Resort . She inquires about your activities for the day and Pekkle’s search for a new hobby, happy to help in any way she can. She asks that you and Pekkle commandeer the oven while she takes orders. First, she’ll need 2x Strawberry Shortcakes .

Once those are complete, talk to Hello Kitty for your next task. She’ll now need 3x Pineapple Stack Cakes .

With those done, talk to Hello Kitty again for your new order. Now, she’ll need a whopping 4x Tofu Bread !

Talk to Hello Kitty once all the Tofu Bread is baked. With that, you’ve completed one order! Hello Kitty checks in on how Pekkle finds the baking experience. It was quite a doozy, and you’ve worked up quite the sweat for just one order. Pekkle finds running the cafe to be a bit of a doozy and thinks something more chill would be better suited to his style.

With two hobbies already tried and tested, Hello Kitty suggests changing up the mood instead. She advises going to Kuromi in Spooky Swamp for a change of scenery to see if you can find a perfect secondary hobby for Pekkle. Head to Spooky Swamp to talk to Kuromi for some inspiration.

A curious Pekkle asks Kuromi if spooky vibes can be a hobby, and while it’s more of a lifestyle, Kuromi suggests giving it a try by brewing a potion. Head into the Potion Hut to interact with the Cauldron and try brewing up a Deep Diving Potion .

Kuromi demands that everyone cackle upon the completion of the potion, and while Pekkle admires her commitment to the lifestyle, it may not really be his kind of vibe. He thanks Kuromi for her time, and you two reconvene back in Gemstone Mountains. Pekkle thanks you for going around the island with him and trying out new things; while he didn’t find a new hobby, he certainly loved going out and about with you! He hears something going down at the Dance Hall , and you two go to check it out.

Turns out, this is where all of Pekkle’s friends have arranged his birthday party! What a wonderful day it turned out to be! With the quest complete, you’ll be rewarded with a Pekkle Party Favor and Pekkle Birthday Balloons Crafting Plans .
