Nintendo's new Customer Appreciation Sale is full of game deals to look through, including some nice finds for Metroid fans. While Metroid Dread is one that's caught our eye in the sale (a perfect pick-up before Metroid Ravenous drops next year), the physical copy of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on the original Switch is also on sale at both Amazon and Best Buy with a huge 42% discount.

This price cut has brought it down to just $34.99 (you'll get the deal price at Best Buy after adding it to your cart), which is $25 cheaper compared to paying full price for it. That's a nice little chunk of cash to save, and not terribly far away from its lowest price point at Amazon of $29.99, either.

Not to mention, it's a great deal to go with if you're hoping to grab it for Switch 2. Considering the Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack is priced at $10, it would bring the grand total up to $45 when paired with this deal, which beats the standard Switch 2 copy's list price of $69.99 (and even Amazon's current sale price of $50.99 ).

If you decide to pick it up, you're in for a treat. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was one of our top reviewed games of 2025 , earning a glowing 8/10 review score. IGN's Logan Plant called it "an excellent, if relatively uneven, revival that reaches heights worthy of the Metroid name in its best moments." And with Metroid Ravenous due out next year , it's a perfect time to jump back into some of the other games.

There's plenty more where Metroid Prime 4: Beyond came from, too. Nintendo's Customer Appreciation Sale is still going strong until September 26 , offering a wide variety of discounts on games, accessories, amiibo, and more.

If you're looking to grab some goodies for the Nintendo fan in your life before the holiday season, this is a great opportunity to shop around. We may not see a lot of these offers again until Black Friday and Cyber Monday , either, so it's as good a time as any to buy.
