Start Saving Now: Next-Gen Begins in 2028 - Next-Gen Console Watch - IGN
Welcome back to Next-Gen Console Watch! This week Daemon, Ryan, and Nick Limon discuss the recent report that Xbox is looking to launch their next-gen Project Helix console in 2028, and for major premium price tag. Current speculation prices Project Helix at anywhere from $1,200 to $1,800, and Microsoft has already teased it will be a very premium piece of hardware. But at that price, could it really compete with gaming PC's that cost around the same? And what does that mean for PlayStation? Internet leaks and rumors also suggest the PS6 will carry a hefty price, with nearly $700 for just the RAM and SSD storage. Plus we have last week's poll and a new poll for you to vote on at IGN.com, Spotify, and Discord.Join us on Discord https://discord.gg/5gz9kJc7YListen or watch on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/7dMyUskIpdnmlVGhio5FCn?si=kYjFb8SsTBqt-EVlwWA39w
