Rainbow Six Tactics Announced, First Single-Player Rainbow Six Game Since Vegas 2 in 2008
Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Tactics, an upcoming turn-based tactics game starring familiar Rainbow Six Siege Operators. Revealed at Gamescom's Opening Night Live showcase, and is due out in 2027 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It's the first single-player game in the franchise since Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2008.

A new round of leaked video clips has surfaced, and they appear to show that the well-populated areas from Rockstar’s trailers will be featured in the actual game. Like all of the leaked gameplay before, they feature only the Jason character, walking through a crowded nightclub, and cycling down a beach. The last clip takes him to “Game Horde” with plenty of used PS5s and physical copies of games lining the shelves, readily available for rental or trade, even if GTA VI won’t be.
